About the Item

A solid walnut black lacquer paper cabinet from the Early 20th Century. A box with front and sides featuring cut-out and bulged lines, unusual asymmetrical curves, composed of two upper drawers topped with a stretcher, and three large drawers. The body is flanked by vertical pilasters, richly carved, cut out, and pierced with floral motifs, vegetal scrolls, and convex movement fluting, resting on scroll feet. The hinged top has rounded upper corners, showcasing a factory with crooked and twisted lines, with a central removable sacristy, flanked by two document holders, seven lower drawers, and nine pigeonholes.
