A chinoiserie vitrine. Extensively decorated in the chinoiserie manner in giltwork and polychromes; rising from a plinth base, having canted sides, a central door to the lower section, revealing a shelved interior; the upper section glazed; surmounted by an ogee form cornice, and surmounted by a stylized Chinese motif, circa 1860.

A High Quality Amboyna and Fire Gilt Bronze Vitrine in the manner of Holland Rising from a rectangular stepped plinth with everted corners, in well figured Amboyna; the glazed door having bead and reel decoration. The top edge having lobed decoration, and the fire gilt bronzes show a gadroon casting to the lower section, with architectural corbels. England Circa 1855 Holland & Sons Originally founded in 1803 by Stephen Taprell and William Holland, a relation of the architect Henry Holland, the firm of Holland & Sons soon became one of the largest and most successful furniture making companies in the 19th Century.
