About the Item

Striking display cabinet from Mats Theselius’s celebrated “National Geographic” series, produced by Källemo to mark the 25th anniversary of the design. The tall, vitrine form is wrapped in a richly patterned surface in dark, mottled tones, contrasted by a brass plinth and sculptural brass door pulls, giving the piece a strong architectural presence. Made in a limited edition of only 220 examples, this cabinet embodies Theselius’s characteristic blend of refined craftsmanship, experimental surfaces and a subtly narrative approach to form. A collectable work that reads equally as furniture and sculpture, ideal as a focal point in a contemporary interior.
