Gorgeous vintage Chinoiserie Chinese red breakfront lighted China hutch, bookcase, or display cabinet comprised of two sections including a lighted top hutch with glass inset door fronts, brass pulls, glass shelves with plate grooves, and hand painted Asian details and a lower buffet with brass pulls, a single fixed shelf in each section, and hand painted Asian scenes on the door fronts. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, we have touched up a few spots but found no outstanding flaws, just light wear. We DARE you not to STARE!!! WOW!!! This is a marvelous Chinoiserie style Chinese Red lighted breakfront China hutch, bookcase, or display cabinet comprised of two pieces including a top cabinet and bottom hutch. For those that may not know what the “breakfront” feature is… It simply indicates that the sides are recessed a bit behind the center section. I think it adds a stunning element to the character of the piece! Let’s discuss the top section of the cabinet first. The top is divided into three separate lighted sections (the center has two bulbs while each side section has an individual, single bulb) including a breakfront center featuring double doors with brass pulls and inset glass fronts and two single side doors with brass pulls also with glass inset fronts all surrounded with gold painted trim detail and a few hand painted decorative Asian floral designs. All three sections each hold 2 height adjustable glass shelves with convenient plate grooves and the inner cabinet bears the same lovely Chinese Red painted color as the whole cabinet exhibits. It has kind of an orange hue that will definitely enhance the presence of your decor and make it POP!!! WOW!!! The entire top section rests upon the top of the lower buffet which bears double doors in the center and two side doors with beautiful brass pulls. There is a single fixed wood shelf behind those double doors and behind each side door. Talk about AMPLE storage space for linens, dishes, games, photo albums, or whatever you may need to stow away. The base is surrounded with gold painted detail above the base trim and the entire front of the buffet is embellished with intricately hand painted Asian scenes of figures in a village including a river, mountains, nature, gazebos and more…. It’s quite serene! It is a magnificent piece of vintage Chinoiserie style furniture, and it is going to be incredible in your family room or living room full of art decor, in your dining area filled with fine China or vintage dishware, or in your home office or study holding books, literature, and other supplies. Possibilities are as endless as your imagination. This is an artfully crafted, highly functional piece of magnificent vintage furniture. So, whether you call it a China hutch, a display cabinet, or if you call it a bookcase…. whatever you call this exquisite Chinoiserie piece… you simply MUST call it YOURS!!!
