Danish Designer, Wooden Chest attributed to Otto Færge
Excellent design to this well sized cabinet. Charming handles and unique leg construction lead us to believe this may be a piece by Danish furniture designer Otto Færge. This cabinet features three visible drawers, the top drawer having a sliding tray for silver, and three drawers hidden behind a swinging door.
The original condition of this cabinet shows a slight sag to the center of the piece, affecting the sliding of the drawers to a small degree. All drawers open, but take mild finessing to do so. We have chosen to leave this piece in original condition, to retain the charm and the natural age of this approximately 80 yr old cabinet. Structurally very sound.
