About the Item

Danish Modern Rosewood Cabinets by Bjerringbro Savværk, 1960s. Set of 2. Pair of matching Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern filing cabinets in Rosewood/palisander. Made in Denmark in the 1960s by Bjerringbro Savværk (later Bjerringbro Kontormøbler aka Bjerringbro Furniture). Both are stamped underneath with makers mark. Stunning bookmatched veneer on all surfaces. Hinged double doors that slides into the side of the cabinets, both cabinets has a lock. One key is included. Inside with height adjustable shelves and eight drawers in solid oak with dividers. A perfect example of Danish Modern design that offers both style and functionality in exquisite materials and craftsmanship. Can be used individually or together as a sideboard. The legs are not original. Very good vintage condition with light patina consistent with age and use like color difference due to sun fading, please photos. All drawers slides easily.
