Rare and spectacular, late 19th century chest of drawers. This beautiful Empire style commode has obviously been used, but the condition is good to excellent. It has a beautifu warm color, but we have never seen this exotic wood ( burl/burr )with the leopard like dots. This unique chest is practical in size, marvelous in shape and the beautiful, gilt bronze Empire style elements also are wonderful to look at.
