About the Item
An authentic and Provincial French two-door buffet in traditional form. With a banded top over a carved, shaped and recessed frieze with flowers. The Lower double doors with shaped recessed panels and carved flowers on scrolled stems. With classic French metal openwork escutcheons (lacking a key) and a single shelf inside. With shaped recessed side panels. The shaped skirt with a carved palmette flanked by flowers on vines. Raised on short scrolled cabriole legs.
Measures: Length. 49 1/2", Depth 23 1/2", Height. 35 1/2"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. There is some age-related wear including some old stains, stable age cracks to the top and some expected scratches and losses which do not detract from the authentic Country French presentation.
