Beautiful and decorative cabinet from the French Régence period. Elegantly adorned with well-preserved chinoiserie designs depicting landscapes, people, birds, and houses in gold leaf on a green and red lacquer background. Features decorative metal fittings with gold leaf decorations, a later added lock, and an interior hanging rod. Measurements H: 220 W: 170 / 150 D: 65 / 56 France, 1750-1770
