About the Item

This is an outstanding French Louis XV nightstand. Exquisite Rococo style carvings and hand painted floral designs. Soft colors and gold gilt highlight the exceptionally ornamental and theatrical style of this table. The marble top sits just above a single drawer with a brass knob in the apron. Inside the drawer is an original label with partial print and some handwriting. There is a door with a brass knob. The concealed compartment behind the door is great for additional storage. The whole is raised on four, carved cabriole legs.
