About the Item

An early 20th century rustic French apothecary cabinet or cartonnier, with many small compartments. Likely used as a fixture in a drug store or hardware store. Made of solid pine with 25 hinged doors, 3 drawers at the bottom and a central door opening to 9 slim shelves. Bars on the sides with brass hinges enable all the side compartments to be locked. Each compartment measures 9.75"W x 6"H. about the size of a shoe box. Perfect for use in an entryway or dressing room to stow shoes or hats and gloves in the winter. New working locks with two keys.
