About the Item
A large French chinoiserie style cabinet, with two doors. This massive cabinet has beautiful proportions, and features lovely Chinese export style paintings of landscape and figure scenes in gold on a vibrant red background. The sides are simply finished in wood. The doors open to reveal a wood interior and single shelf. The interior shelf is adjustable. The cabinet rests on tapered feet, ending in metal clogs at the base. The front has fluted linear details at the right, left and center. The top is garnished with a white and gray veined marble top. There are two keyhole locks, but the keys are not with this piece.
