A French Louis XV Style gilt metal mounted Kingwood edestal vitrine cabinet, circa 1880.
Very nice quality, very rare, unusual form. Pedestal and vitrine with glass shelves and red velvet lined on the inside, with original rouge marble and original key.
Good condition, minor wear and rubbing. Some minor chips to the wood, gilt re-painting to some areas of wood. No major issues noted. Normal wear and tear consistent with age and use.
