About the Item

This substantial corner "buffet a deux corps" was made in 19th century France from solid oak. The top portion is crowned with a molded cornice over rounded double doors with shapely carved panels. Unlocking the solid doors reveals two fixed shelves. The bottom cabinet measures 41-⅝”H and houses a single fixed shelf in the same manner as the top. All four doors are fixed with a matching cast brass escutcheon and functioning lock, two keys are included. A scalloped apron nicely complements the curvaceous paneling on each door.
