About the Item

Italian Mahogany Filing Cabinet with Tooled Leather Slides, late 20th c. A sturdy and beautifully made four-drawer filing cabinet stamped “Victoria Collection,” believed to originate from Italy in the late 20th century. Crafted in polished mahogany, it features four substantial panelled drawers on smooth-running metal supports, each fitted with decorative brass handles and working locks (key included). Each side of the cabinet has a pull-out brush slide with two levels, inset with brown leather panels and gilt tooling—four leather insets in total. The cabinet is cleanly styled, with fluted corner pilasters and shaped bracket feet. It is robust and purposeful, without leaning into ornate or reproduction styling. Dimensions: W 116.5 cm × D 65 cm × H 79 cm Condition: Very good—light surface marks, leather insets excellent, locks functional with original key.
