About the Item

Designed and made in Iowa, USA, master metalsmith and sculptor James Bearden blurs the line between practical furniture and exotic sculptural expression. This cabinet, 'Array Credenza', features over 150 small and large square sections, plasma cut from cold-rolled steel stock. Made exclusively of metal, the cabinet sits on a welded square steel base made the same way. The cabinet is finished inside and out with his custom metallic polywash finish, which enhances the visual contrast of the piece and and provides corrosion protection. On top sits a steel panel, scored with a plasma cutter to acheive the textured finish. Looking positively alien, this cabinet will be the center of attention no matter where you put it. It catches the eye from a mile away, inviting you to get lost in all its details. In unused condition. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this wonderful piece. Like my other Bearden pieces, this cabinet was gifted to me over 10 years ago. We're proud to offer it for sale now.
