About the Item

An antique Japanese low storage cabinet from the early 20th century, with sliding doors, three drawers and metal hardware. Created in Japan during the early years of the 20th century, this antique storage cabinet may have originally been conceived as the top to another piece. The low cabinet features a rectangular top sitting above two sliding doors, opening to reveal inner shelves offering convenient storage opportunities. The door on the right opens to a slightly different layout, including a hidden drawer. The lower section showcases three drawers, each fitted with a metal handle. The sides are plain with metal accentuation at the bottom and the back is, of course, simply planked and unfinished. The ensemble boasts a nicely weathered appearance demonstrating its good age and use. With its clean lines and great rustic character, this Japanese low storage cabinet from the early 20th century will bring a touch of authenticity to any home décor.
