About the Item
Beautiful Gustavian linen press in two parts from northern Sweden, crafted around 1790–1800. Made of solid pine with elegant grain and fine craftsmanship of high quality.
The upper section features a profiled cornice with carved dentil trim and a pair of doors with deeply profiled panels and fluted details. The hinges are made of wrought iron. Original locks and keys with brass fittings.
The lower section contains four spacious drawers, also with original brass hardware.

A fine and well-preserved piece in its original condition, executed in the characteristic Gustavian style.
