Art Deco Cabinet by Dominique
A superb Art Deco Macassar Ebony cabinet by Dominique — the renowned French design partnership of André Domin and Marcel Genevière. Compact, architectural, and beautifully constructed, this 1925 piece is an elegant statement of early French modernism, perfectly suited to a curated interior, living room, or refined storage setting.
The exterior is veneered in dramatic Macassar Ebony, its vertical grain giving the cabinet a bold, rhythmic presence. The doors are inlaid with elongated diamond motifs in a contrasting light timber, producing a striking geometric pattern synonymous with high-end French Art Deco. The cabinet stands on tapered legs capped with brass sabots, offering a light, elevated stance.
