About the Item
This is a vintage handmade cabinet by Maitland Smith in the form of a classical column. This large classical column is in the Corinthian style. The Corinthian column is the most decorative style column known for its ordinate acanthus leaves and decorative base. The ornate decoration has been handcrafted and gilded gold with a burgundy undertone. The front of the column opens up to expose a hidden cabinet behind with its original delicate gilded brass pull. The column has been handcrafted in Cherrywood and has its original Maitland Smith sticker on the reverse.
