The construction originated from research into plastic building toy blocks for children. The plastic parts with small studs can easily be attached to each other. This principle has been simplified by attaching four or more studs above and below a shelf and clamping a loose leg between them. Nopper can be assembled in different ways. Playing with proportions and positions in its parts gives freedom to an endless amount of formal constructions from minimal to more baroque. Nopper, obviously, can be made to measure.
