About the Item

Mid-century ‘Fresco’ highboard designed Victor B. Wilkins for G-Plan, circa 1960s. This teak piece features a credenza styled bottom and shelving atop. Storage and display opportunities are abundant with this piece and gorgeous woodgrain throughout. The bottom section has cabinet doors on both the left and right-hand side. Double doors open to internal adjustable shelves. If the shelves are removed, the cabinets can easily fit records. The middle has a bank of three smooth sliding drawers. The door handles and drawer handles are made from carved teak wood and accent the doors and drawers beautifully. The handles add dimension to the piece and a lovely rounded element. The top section has three separate cubbies. The right-hand side has a small glass internal shelf while the middle and left-hand side have teak adjustable shelves. There is a single sliding door that can cover either the middle and left-hand side. Perfect for further hidden storage. Sitting atop tall teak legs and incredible stretcher base. The base adds the perfect height to the piece. A great piece for a record player and vinyl storage or an entry way. In fantastic vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
