This mid century modern “Sho Rack” freestanding newspaper vending machine features metal construction, white painted finish with swirling gold accents, coin operated spring loaded door with lock
key, and chrome hairpin base.
Matching black cabinet available separately.
Dimensions: 24.25w 17.25d 36h
Condition notes: Original paint job is in good condition. Only slight wear and tear around the edges. It appears that this unit was kept indoors possibly a hotel or diner vestibule. Coin operated mechanism works well. The key is included so it is possible to by-pass the coins. Spring loaded door does not stay opened on its own. Spring would need to be disabled for use as a bar. Overall a very unique piece of newspaper history. 9/10
