About the Item
A pair of slim teak display and storage cabinets / room dividers by Stateroom, imported from the United Kingdom in the late 1960s. A stylish, sleek way to divide a large space (finished on the backs) or have a bar and show off vintage stemware and bottles.
We love the sculptural legs and combination of open and closed shelving. Pieces in lighter tones and darker tones can be arranged as needed to highlight the best aspects of each.
The clean Danish Modern aesthetic is timeless and beatiful in rich teak grain, and chunky pulls that have a great handfeel.
Minor scuffs and scrapes earned through natural age and use do show a bit of wear, but overall the pieces are in very good vintage condition with the wear only seen by looking for it. The fact that two identical cabinets have stayed together through time demonstrates the love and utility they have provided for their owners and appreciation they have had for decades.
