About the Item

France / 1850 / cabinet / oak / neo-gothic / antique Oak neo-gothic cabinet/ highboard with 2 doors and 2 large drawers with beautiful original brass hardware, hand crafted in France, circa 1850. Made in warm dark oak wood with typical neo gothic carvings on the upper area where we find able space for storing. Behind the drawers we even found a secret storage hatch (see pictures). Top is supported by ribbed columns along the front and an extraordinary carved paneled back. These geometrical carvings are repeated on the side panels of the cabinet. This exquisite oak neo-gothic cabinet is a true masterpiece of craftsmanship, featuring intricate carved details that showcase the timeless beauty of antique furniture. The overall patina on the rich, warm tones of the oak wood add a touch of elegance to any room, while the neo-gothic design brings a sense of history and sophistication to your interior. The cabinet's sturdy construction and durable materials ensure that it will be a cherished heirloom for generations to come.
