About the Item
Late 19th c. Notable figured wood cabinets, with rounded front corners and double doors with arch shaped banded panels opening to a single shelf. With keys. Overall brass decorative bands and figural protomes, leaves and rosettes on the supports. Side and door panels with fine string inlay borders. The rounded feet with berry and leafy mounts, the shaped skirt rail with front mount. With fine purple-red marble tops.
Measures: Width. 48", Depth 16 1/4", Height. 41"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. One marble top with corner piece broken (Fits well). There is slight wear to door top moldings, some stable age cracks to the door panels and the front feet, chip above the skirt rail, tarnished brass, some verdigris spots, and rings on the interior shelves but overall the Cabinets exhibit a desirable age patina and display exceptionally well.
