About the Item

Pair of English oak small cabinets made from HMY Osbourne circa 1902. Here we present a pair of small handmade oak glazed cabinets each baring plaques stating they were made from timbers used from the breaking up from Queen Victoria's yacht, the HMY Osborne. Hmy osborne was a paddle steamer made in 1870 and was used for cruises by Queen Victoria and Albert. Ideally for table top use having never been hung.  Single glazed door opens to reveal 2 fitted drawers for storage. Expected surface marks and age splits to woodwork.
