About the Item

This pair of dressers was designed by decorated design icon Edward Wormly for equally revered manufacturer Dunbar Furniture. Known for hundreds of successful designs and exceptional quality, these dressers are no different. The walnut has been restored to its original depth and color, with a pleasant warm tone and excellent clarity into the grain. Four expansive drawers flank either side, also in walnut, but featuring center-biased handles clad in leather. This choice, odd on the surface, brings a lot of character to this dresser not common in many others, even from Wormley's own catalogue. These are also the larger model, as opposed to the more common 4-drawer model. A super stylish and practical pair of cabinets or dressers. You will love them in your eclectic or modern home. Each cabinet has been professionally restored by our in-house team. This involves chemical stripping and hand-sanding to remove the old finish. Then, new finish is applied using automotive-grade tools. Finally, the color is sealed in with a clear satin lacquer that provides a warm and inviting look. These cabinets have lived long lives. Despite the extensive restoration, they still retain the character of well-used pieces. We're proud to offer such special pieces. While we think these dressers suit each other better as a pair, we will split them up if you just need one. Reach out!
