About the Item

An Italian pair of petite sized wooden console cabinets with nice geometric design elements. This vintage pair of chests from Italy are each adorn with a recessed panel design throughout their bodies. An egg-n-dart carved trim embellishes beneath the top, chamfered-set sides follow the design of the top. The canted sides give way to a straight front which houses a single drawer at top center, and two pairs of doors beneath, one pair atop the other, which open to reveal storage within. The drawer and doors are fitted with decorative knob pulls at their centers. The skirt has a small valanced at front, with bracket feet giving way to a stacked molded base along the sides. These cute-sized Italian console cabinets, with their approximate 2.5 foot width and slender depth of less than a foot, will work well where space may be limited, or perhaps could be used as end tables or nightstands.
