About the Item

A Chinese Qing Dynasty period wooden display cabinet from the 19th century, with reddish brown lacquer, open shelves, drawers and carved friezes. Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period in the 19th century, this display cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a reddish brown lacquer. The cabinet is topped with two open shelves offering convenient display opportunities, accented with a frieze carved in low-relief in the upper section. These two shelves are followed by three drawers each fitted with ring pulls on floral backplates. The lower section presents an additional shelf adorned with an auspicious dragon-themed scrolling frieze on the skirt. The sides are open in their upper half and made of recessed panels at the bottom.
