About the Item

Lovely little oak tabernacle from the Renaissance period of the 17th century. Superb little unusual piece of furniture with its original lock and working key. The door is covered with red velvet on the inside, which is unusual. The tabernacle is decorated with colomns on its front and on both sides, which reminds us of the columns of a Roman temple. In perfect condition and with a magnificent patina.
