About the Item
Cabinet bar by the Belgian sculptor Roger Bonduel (1930-2019) in acid-etched and patinated steel. Posterior metal base. From 1961 to 1966, Roger Bonduel taught visual art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bruges. Bonduel became best known for its sculptures, furniture, and bas-reliefs. He used nickel, copper, steel, silver, brass and bronze. He played an important role in the revival of religious art. This cabinet was made in the 1960s for a an interiorproject of a modernist chapel in Belgium. Dimenions H 156,5 cm x W 51 cm x D 29 cm / Height of the cabinet without custom made base 36cm
