About the Item
A very well made early 20th Century solid Oak ice box manufactured by Biltwell and sold exclusively through Abraham
Strauss, Brooklyn, New York. With beautifully finished wood and handsome graining and paneled sides, the ice box has three doors opening to reveal 3 grid shelves on the left and two cold storage areas on the right. Heavy duty brass door latches, handles and locking mechanisms.
Dimensions: 33.75” wide by 17.25” deep by 40.75” high.
Condition: please see detail photos. There is some light scratching to the top surface, nicks and rusting to the castors mentioned for accuracy as the presentation remains striking and authentic.
