About the Item
This Swedish folk or country cabinet case piece was hand-crafted in the 19th Century. It consists of two pieces: a cabinet top and a chest of drawers. The cabinet comes with a working key and opens up to four shelves that have been painted a pink hue. The bottom chest has two full-length drawers equipped with two knob pulls. What's striking about this cabinetry is its warm, hand-made quality and well-weathered surfaces. A terra-cotta paint color - with a ground peeking through and showing white and lighter pale peach hues - covers the entire front and sides. Overall this is a well-crafted, richly textured cabinetry that offers ample storage space.
