Elevated in scale and presence, this exquisite tall Swedish display cabinet dates to the late 19th century and showcases the quiet elegance and craftsmanship characteristic of Scandinavian cabinetry of the period. Finished in a beautifully aged dark grey with a soft, mottled patina, the piece is crowned with an architectural, gently flared cornice that lends a refined sense of grandeur.
The upper section features its original glass doors, complete with original functioning locks, opening to two adjustable interior shelves set against a contrasting light-grey painted interior—perfect for displaying ceramics, books, or curated collections.
Below, a lower cupboard functions as a petite sideboard, fitted with two solid-panel doors adorned with decorative milled vertical panels. This section also retains its original working locks, and the cabinet comes with two keys.
Along both sides of the piece, subtle triple vertical cuts add understated structure and authenticity. The cabinet stands on stable, tapering legs that bring lightness to its tall profile.
