Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this lovely suite of three, Chinese Rosewood, Military Campaign style bookcases with drawers than can be used as drinks cabinets Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price A good looking and well made suite, they are super elegant and very stylish, made as part of the Chinese Export process, basically the Chinese, since the early Victorian era have been custom making Export pieces for the visiting dignitaries, these are based on the Military officers campaign drawers and drinks cabinets which have been amalgamated into one, the cabinets have fitted lights however I haven't rewired or tested them so I would recommend having a trained electrician look them over, the cabinets also have glass shelves inside so with the lights on, the light trickles through all the shelves to the bottom, the timber is Chinese Rosewood which has a wonderful grain and patina They can of course be used as three separate bookcases or one long bookcase, it really is up to you The suite has been cleaned waxed and polished, there may be some normal age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect based on the age however to me they look perfect Dimensions Height:- 213cm Width:- 91cm each, total 273cm Depth:- 45cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
