About the Item
A very rare pair of 19th Century marble top, well figured oak cabinets, finely hand carved and of exceptional quality with gorgeously rich patination and fine grain. The stunning moulded, Carrara White marble top of rectangular form with canted corners is raised over an elegantly simple deep frieze above a single, shaped and glazed panelled door, fitted with brass escutcheon and key which opens to a cream lined shelved interior. Flanked with canted sides with foliate motif detail, fabulously hand carved in high relief, supported on serpentine shaped platform plinth base.
