This exquisite cabinet, designed by William Watting, is a rare and elegant piece from the 1940s. Crafted in Europe, it showcases a beautifully grained walnut exterior, enhanced by striking tambour doors and finely detailed drawers with brass handles. The sideboard is elevated on lacquered wooden legs with brass capped feet. The base is connected by an elegant wooden cross stretcher, adding to its refined aesthetic. In the 1940s, William Watting operated his own furniture store in Copenhagen, where he crafted bespoke pieces tailored to individual clients. This particular design originates from that era and reflects his signature attention to detail and craftsmanship. Created as a made to order piece, it stands as a rare example of his work.
