About the Item

This stunning and beautifully ornate 3 drawer 17th century style yew oyster chest has been traditionally hand constructed from 18th century materials, with hand cut oyster veneer copying the designs of the period. This piece is made to the very highest standard as a replica of the original antiques. Period escutcheons and replacement handles have also been used to finish the piece. The chest features one central larger drawer with a smaller drawer above and below, while supported on bracket feet. This chest would make a striking focal point to a wide range of rooms.
