About the Item

A unique and elegant painted Baroque chest of drawers with a concave front adorned with minimal scrolled oval-shaped panels and flanked by decorative acanthus leave corners finishing on horse hoofed feet. A beautiful scraped silver (non metallic) painted finish with reddish and wood undertones grace this oak chest. Shown with its original locks and with working keys for use as pulls. Origin: Southern Germany Dating: 1750ca Condition: Excellent working condition, fully refurbished painted surface, interior drawers cleaned Dimensions: 25″ deep, 46″ wide, 32″ high
