About the Item

This antique rococo large oak chest of drawers features a serpentine front, scalloped skirt, brass hardware pulls and is raised on curved cabriole feet. The newer, professionally applied and layered black painted finish is gently distressed, revealing the natural wood below while complimenting the age and curved lines of the chest. This dresser has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers are in working order. Two brass pulls and key cover are on each of the drawers. All scratches, cracks (top, sides, etc.), dings, and age related separation (often in drawer bottoms and sides) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large oak chest of four drawers.
