About the Item

A fine George III period serpentne fronted chest of drawers with carved molded top edge. A full-length brush slide sits above four long drawers. The piece is complete with original swan neck brass handles and terminates on ogee bracket feet. A fine and imposing example of a commode proportions that could be used in a reception room as well as a bedroom. Circa 1780 English Condition: Beautiful colour and patination. Minimal very minor historic repairs, as to be expected. Wear consistent with age and use.
