About the Item
A fine example of a walnut serpentine three drawer commode with molded edge top, heavy gilt brass radial pulls
escutcheons, and nicely carved panels and skirt, all supported by short cabriole legs with scroll feet. French in origin, dating to the 18th century. Very good overall condition, with some deep surface scratches, refreshed finish, minor restorations, and other imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. The brasses were probably replaced. Dimensions: 37.25 in H x 49.5 in W x 26.5 in D. Ref: 715
