About the Item
An Italian burl wood veneered chest of drawers from the 18th century. This antique chest from Italy has a rectangular-shaped top with burled veneer and a decorative banding inlay, which rests atop a case that houses three full-sized, dovetailed, recessed-panel drawers, each fitted with Rococo style pulls, flanking an escutcheon within their center. The skirt consists of stacked molding, and the chest has a slight raise up off the floor upon its shallow bun carved feet. The chest is adorn throughout in an attractive burl wood veneer, adding beauty and movement to the piece. This 18th century Italian chest with burl accents, will make a handsome decorative storage piece, perfect for your bedroom, foyer, or study.
