About the Item
Neoclassical commode hand-made in Italy in the mid 1700s using walnut and decorated with walnut cross-banded veneer and fruitwood inlay. The dresser has gorgeous, elegant lines that give it a timeless look and will allow it to look great in any setting both as a practical as well as decorative piece. The commode features three inset drawers and with beautiful hand-made dovetail joints. The drawer fronts are decorated with cross-banded walnut veneer, giving the commode beautiful striations and depth. The top features flat edged and is just exquisite. In the center of the top we find an inlaid pattern of walnut and fruitwood framed by three layers of different inlays, providing a beautiful alternation of colors and decoration.
This Italian neoclassical commode is absolutely stunning: its lines are elegant, its color is warm, the decorations are intricate but also delicate and its overall appearance is sophisticate but also understated. This piece will look great anywhere and the because the drawers open very easily it can be used on a daily basis.
