Neoclassical commode hand-made in South Tyrol in the mid 1700s using walnut and decorated with walnut and fruitwood inlaid veneer and marquetry. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of furniture with stunning lines and gorgeous character. This is the kind of piece that elevates a space and sets the tone of a home. The commode features three large inset drawers with beautiful hand-made dovetail joints and absolutely stunning veneer decoration of the front. The level of precision on the inlay and marquetry is breathtaking and a statement to the craftsmanship of its maker. The sides and the top are also decorated with different patterns of inlay, and the overall alternation of wood colors and grain give the commode a lot of depth, despite its very straight lines.
Overall, as mentioned several times at this point, this is an exquisite and absolutely stunning piece of furniture that canbe used on a daily basis and provide plenty of storage space.
