About the Item

A 1930s Japanese lacquer Sendai Tansu Chest of drawers. Looks to be solid pine construction with a lacquered finish. Heavy patina adds to the charm. An almost 100 year old piece thats travelled the world and sure to add character and strike a conversation. Dimensions: 46” wide x 17” deep 33.75” High Condition: Heavily worn. Showing heavy patina. Missing handles on sides. Locks are stuck open, no key and pieces have been cut out to allow drawer access. Paint loss throughout. Recommended to love with the as is patina or refinish as desired. Shipping: This item will be shipped by personal courier. Please allow at least 4-6 weeks for delivery depending on your distance from the East Coast and our shipper’s routes.
