About the Item

19th century Louis Philippe commode from France. The top is made from a gorgeous piece of black marble, which has intense graining. The case of this piece is the real showstopper. The case is made from stunning Hungarian Burl Ash, and the graining and pattern is absolutely exquisite. The sides of the case are simple, and are book matched for continuity to the pattern. There are four drawers in the front, all over a banded base with shaped feet in the front, and simple feet in the back for easy placement against a wall.
