Carved walnut 19th century french provincial commode circa 1850. Stunning example of a mid-19th century french walnut provincial commode. 3 drawers with profusely carved in rosewood inserts. Fitted with original ornate handles and escutheons. Beautiful color and patina. Obvious surface staining to top with construction nails in top. Expected surface marks with age. Minor age split to top surface but not structural.
