About the Item

For sale is a good quality burr walnut chest on stand. The top of the chest has an arched pediment with a single drawer in the centre. Below this there are two short drawers over three long. The chest fits onto the base, comprising of a single long drawer above two further short drawers. Each drawer is banded, and has herringbone inlay with original brass "swan neck handles". All of the drawers are oak lined with handcut dove tails. The piece stands on cabriole legs terminating on claw and ball feet. The piece is in very good condition. Measures: Width 45", depth 20.5", height 92".
